Leisure Activities

Vienna has something to offer everyone. In summer, the sports enthusiast can enjoy swimming, jogging or cycling. In winter, there is a popular skating rink in front of the city hall, as well as skiing in the nearby Alps. Or you might prefer to just relax in one of the traditional Viennese coffee houses, where you can meet friends, read newspapers or even do your homework! Whatever time of year you visit us, the world famous opera houses, concert halls, pop music venues, museums and theatres will make sure you are never lost for something to do.

In July and August, the school organises a different leisure activity almost every day. These include walking tours of the city, visits to rustic wine taverns (Heuriger), open air film shows, and even swimming, dancing and cooking classes.
