Location
IKI is situated in the heart of Vienna, close to the Staatsoper and Karlsplatz, with excellent public transport connections (subway lines U1, U2 and U4; tram routes D, 1, 2 and 62 ; bus routes 4A and 59A; Badener Bahn). We have two locations: The office and five classrooms are situated on the third floor at Opernring 7. The entrance to the building is next to the Café Aida at the corner of Operngasse and Opernring, opposite the Staatsoper. Another five classrooms are located on the second floor at Bösendorferstraße 9, just a few minutes walk away. Both sites have light and airy classrooms with superb views of the Ringstraße/Oper and Karlsplatz/Karlskirche respectively.  How to find us
From Vienna airport Take the train S7 or the City Airport Train (CAT) to Wien-Mitte station, then change to the subway. Take the U4 (towards Hütteldorf) as far as Karlsplatz. We are just a few minutes walk away. Airport pick-up service Let us know your flight number and arrival time and we will arrange for a taxi to meet you at the airport. The taxi fare to the city centre is a fixed price, currently 27 Euro. From Südbahnhof Take tram D to Oper From Westbahnhof Take the subway U3 (towards Simmering) as far as Volkstheater, then change. Take tram D or 2 to Oper. By car Plan your route using Google Maps, http://maps.google.de/ Parking in the centre of Vienna is restricted Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 8 pm. The maximum stay between these times is 1½ hours. You can purchase a parking ticket at one of the many kiosks (Tabak-Trafiken). |
